2026 Symposium
Please join the Cardozo Journal of Equal Rights and Social Justice for our Symposium, “Executive Overreach: Evaluating the Unitary Executive Theory & the DOJ,” on Friday, March 6, 2026, where we will discuss legal theories surrounding the Presidency, including upcoming decisions like Trump v. Slaughter and the continuing relevance of Humphrey’s Executor. Additionally, we will discuss current events at the DOJ, specifically surrounding vindictive and selective prosecution and Presidential control over the DOJ. A breakfast reception will begin at 9:30 a.m., and a lunch reception will occur after the event.
